February, 28 Charlottesville Yoseikan was paid a visit by Sensei Sam Justice two of his ranking students, Jesse Walker and Shannon Clarke.
Justice Sensei is a lifetime member of the USANKF (USA National Karate Federation) as well as a recent appointee to the Senior Karate Masters Caucus. He made the trip to Greenwood to assist in familiarizing us with the rules and regulations of the USANKF and to take a look at some of Chito-ryu karate kata. Justice Sensei is an extremely gracious person that really knows his traditional karate but is also a truely humble spirit. He has taught his students well and we are most thankful for his time and knowledge.
Charlottesville Yoseikan is now a club member of the USANKF and will be participating in the local qualifier on March 29th in Richmond VA.
