Mission Statement
Charlottesville Yoseikan, LLC
Charlottesville Budokan, LLC, established in October 2002, promises superior training in the art and way of Chito-ryu Karate-do and Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu.
Charlottesville Budokan, LLC is chartered under the aegis of the United States Chito-ryu Karate Federation, founded by William J. Dometrich, Hanshi and Barbara E. Dometrich, Kyoshi as directed by O'Sensei, Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose, founder of Chito-ryu Karate-Do. We are also an official Kenkyu Kai (Study group) chartered under the Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai / Jikishin Kai International under the East Coast Hombu director, Carl Long, Kyoshi.
We will promote the well being of all individuals who seek training in Karate-do and Iaijutsu by assisting them to achieve a greater sense of health physically, mentally, and spiritually through the ideals handed down from the knowledge and skill of the founder of Chito-ryu, Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose, O'Sensei and the 1st Grand Master of MJER Iaijutsu, Hyashizaki Jinsuke Shingenobu. |

DOJO will be closed Monday, May 28th. Happy Memorial Day
Please plan to make up class on Thursday or Saturday of that week.

Congratulations to Lucasz & Pawell Marcinkiewicz for your outstanding performance in the 2012 AAU Virginia State Tournament on April 14, 2012. Lucasz brought home one Gold and Two Silver medals. Pawell brought home three Bronze medals.
